Hello dear readers! For those of you who haven’t heard, I’m offering a two day Fiber Arts Camp for grownups at my studio this weekend. I think there are two spots left, so register quickly to reserve yours.
Here’s the link to the registration info: https://www.whatcomfolkschool.org/event-registration?ee=301
And here’s the description:
Interested in a fiber arts but you aren’t sure if you’re a
knitter or a felter? Have you been bitten by the fiber bug
but want to know more? Yarnarchy Fiber Camp is great
way to explore a wide range of fiber arts! Students will be
introduced to knitting, wet felting, needle felting, spinning,
dyeing, fiber processing, and weaving. At least one project
in each area will be started and/or completed, and students
will go home with materials, tools, and supplies to finish
projects and start a few new ones. Some of the materials
include bamboo knitting needles, yarn, drop spindle, fiber,
wood weaving board, felting kit with foam block, felting
needles, bamboo mat, and much more including a tote bag
to carry all of your new toys.
I promise a proper post soon, with photos of all of the lovely yarn yumminess I’ve been working on. Plus new project photos from customers!
